For the period of two years a Feodor Lynen-award od the Humbioldt Foundation enables Dr. Kalmring a research stay at the Arkeologiska Forskningslaboratoriet at the Swedish capital Stockholm. Within the scope of his project “Birka’s Harbour in Excavations and Surveys” he now supports the Swedish colleaguees at the recent excavations in Birka.
